Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 10 August 2026
The English and Chinese versions are intended to express the same rules. If they differ, interpret them, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to preserve the original intent and mandatory consumer protections, and contact support for clarification.
1. Core rule
You may use K.N only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm others, networks, the Services or K.N's reputation. You are responsible for users, applications, content and traffic originating from your resources.
2. Prohibited security activity
Without the target owner's clear authorization, you must not scan, probe, exploit, intercept, brute-force, credential-stuff, disrupt, deny service, evade access controls, operate botnets, distribute malware, mine credentials, or access systems or data. Security research must be permissioned, rate-limited and isolated.
3. Messaging and network abuse
No unsolicited bulk messaging, spam, address harvesting, deceptive mail, phishing, spoofing, mail bombing, open relays, open proxies, public anonymization endpoints used for abuse, amplification services, or repeated listing on blocklists. You must secure exposed services and act on complaints.
4. Content and conduct
No child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate content, credible threats, unlawful harassment, trafficking, fraud, impersonation, illegal gambling, sanctions evasion, infringement, circumvention tools offered mainly for unlawful use, or content whose possession or distribution is illegal. Do not misuse personal data or violate privacy rights.
5. Resource and platform abuse
Do not deliberately exhaust shared CPU, storage, I/O, memory, IP reputation, bandwidth or support capacity; evade limits; resell contrary to an order; interfere with monitoring; falsify identity; abuse trials or promotions; or use excessive cryptocurrency mining or similar workloads where restricted. We may rate-limit, isolate or require remediation.
6. Enforcement
We consider severity, intent, repetition, impact and cooperation. Action may include notice, traffic filtering, port blocking, quarantine, suspension, termination, evidence preservation or referral to competent authorities. Immediate threats may be acted on without notice. Report issues under the Abuse Policy.
