The English and Chinese versions are intended to express the same rules. If they differ, interpret them, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to preserve the original intent and mandatory consumer protections, and contact support for clarification.
1. Data we collect
We may collect account and profile details; verification records; orders and support communications; service configuration, identifiers and usage; traffic totals and operational telemetry; IP addresses, session identifiers, timestamps, device/browser and user-agent information; security, authentication and abuse logs; and payment status, amount, processor customer/payment identifiers, risk results and limited card metadata such as brand, last four digits and fingerprint. K.N does not intentionally store full card numbers or card security codes; payment processors handle them.
2. Why we use data
We use data to provide and secure Services; authenticate users; provision and bill resources; prevent fraud, repeated promotion claims and abuse; communicate; support customers; measure reliability and capacity; enforce agreements; meet accounting, tax, sanctions and legal duties; and establish, exercise or defend claims. Processing may rely on contract, legitimate interests, consent or legal obligation as applicable.
3. Sharing and processors
We may share necessary data with hosting, network, security, email, analytics, support, payment and professional-service providers; corporate transaction participants; authorities where lawfully required; and affected parties when necessary to prevent harm or enforce rights. Providers receive only data reasonably needed and are expected to protect it. We do not sell personal information for money.
4. Retention, transfers and security
Retention depends on account life, service needs, security risk, backups, disputes and legal or accounting duties. Some fraud, payment, authentication and abuse records may be retained after closure. Data may be processed in countries different from yours, with contractual, technical or legal safeguards where required. We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.
5. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, or withdraw consent. Rights may be limited by security, fraud prevention, legal retention, other persons' rights and technical necessity. Send a verified request to support@koanode.com. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority.
6. Children and updates
The Services are not directed to children and may not be used by anyone unable to enter a binding contract in their location. Do not submit a child's personal data. We may update this Policy prospectively and will show the effective date.
